Nothing like an afternoon quickie!

Recently got my ASCP in "Florence" the other day and couldn't wait to try it out.  I had a bunch of stuff that was given to me by our friend in Florida and in that "pile" was this table:

Yes, it was in that bad of condition.  So much so that I ended up taking everyone of the dad-burn nails out and having a Hoo-Ha of a time with my power nail gun putting it back together again.... MuaHahahahahaha!!!

So I slapped just 2 coats of this gorgeous color on the little table and then paid homage to my days of living in San Fran by stenciling "Pier 39" on top.  The stencil was made from card stock using my Silhouette Cameo machine.

I've been testing out various stains these days and I'm doing a happy dance over some Ralph Lauren stains I learned about over at Altar'd.com.  I used the Tea Stain they recommended on this.  It gave it a slight tarnished look without being overbearing on the color.    In other words, it's in the grooves where it's suppose to be rather than showing up all over the color.  I was rather pleased with it.

It's nothing big deal, just a quickie little cottage end table.

Now I'm  off to finish dying the linen fabric for my upcoming Union Jack chair!
